Andorra Telecom will improve its mobile telephony offer from 1 December.

The amount of mobile data is increasing considerably at all rates starting tomorrow, with no customers having to take any action.

Andorra Telecom presented an improved mobile phone offer this Monday. This improvement is mainly based on a considerable increase in mobile data and call minutes included in each of the rates. In addition, in order to facilitate customer decision-making, the available rates are reduced from eight to six and the prices are rounded down by a few cents.

Thus, for example, the S tariff, which currently costs € 30.31 and has 4 gigabytes of data, will become the M tariff, with a price of € 30 and 12 gigabytes of data. In addition, this same rate will be the most customizable of the offer, as you can add the options to duplicate the data or to be able to consume half of the international minutes or roaming data.

Finally, and as a complement to this new tariff offer, the price of the supplementary data has also been updated, for those customers who need to consume more sporadically, from € 9.41 per gig to only € 5. .

It should be noted that the possibility of offering these tariffs with more data volume and, above all, with more roaming volume in M ​​and higher tariffs, is given by the agreements with neighboring operators, as a result of the negotiations that have been carried out. the company in recent years, and which have led to an improvement in roaming and interconnection tariffs.

Carles Casadevall, spokesman for Andorra Telecom, emphasized during the press conference the increase in data consumption that has been taking place for some time: “It is clear that the way we consume content has evolved rapidly and this has the fact that users are increasingly in need of larger volumes of mobile data, an increase of approximately 30% annually. With these improvements, we are confident that we will help our customers have a better mobile Internet experience. " Finally, he assured that "following the company's goal of continuous improvement, we will continue with international negotiations to try to get the best possible rates and update the services we offer to our customers on a regular basis."

The changes introduced will take effect automatically on December 1, without customers having to do anything, and will apply to some 70,000 contract mobile phone lines.
