Andorra Telecom connects COVID-19 testing points
Minister and spokesperson Eric Jover thanked Andorra Telecom this Monday for their collaboration in the mass antibody testing arrangements at the daily coronavirus press briefing. The telecommunications company has been involved in ensuring the connectivity of the control points established, and the security of the IT equipment used.
The Minister for Health, Joan Martínez Benazet, accompanied Jover at the briefing. The minister described the start of screening in all parishes as a success. This screening has enabled analysis to be performed on 11,000 citizens, one thousand of whom were health workers, out of a total of 63,000 people who registered for the tests.
Martínez Benazet highlighted the double-usefulness of tests that "will allow us to better control the epidemic", and "will provide reassurance to people who want to visit or settle in Andorra".
