Andorra Telecom signs an agreement with Keiretsu Forum, the largest international private investor network
The promotion of start-ups hosted in the Andorra Telecom Niu incubator and the possibilities of finding new funding are the goals of the agreement signed this Wednesday between Andorra Telecom and Keiretsu Forum
NIU start-ups selected to participate in the Keiretsu forums will be able to take part in various workshops and have the opportunity to present their project to the private investors previously invited by the organisation.
The agreement was electronically signed, given the current health situation, by the carrier's managing director, Jordi Nadal, and the CEO of the Keiretsu Forum, Miquel Costa.
Keiretsu Forum was founded in 2000 in the United States and is organised as a platform to fund growing small and medium-sized businesses. With 53 head offices in 27 countries on four continents, it has invested over $200 million in various companies.
The agreement signed today will provide start-ups hosted at the NIU with the opportunity to avail of significant economic benefits and to be selected by its forums.
Keiretsu Forum Spain has a long and successful history of organising investment forums, holding 25 events a year. Despite the current situation, its activity has continued via online platforms, with the participation of more than 200 investors in each session.
Jordi Nadal, general manager of the carrier, valued the alliance with Keiretsu Forum very positively, highlighting “its recognised track record in attracting investment, which will give the start-ups hosted at the NIU incubator the opportunity to participate in one of the most consolidated international events where projects in the technological sector have special significance”.
The CEO of Keiretsu Forum Spain, Miquel Costa, hopes that "this agreement will help the Andorran entrepreneurial ecosystem to flourish, and that the processes of Keiretsu Forum will be useful for start-ups hosted at the NIU"
